DESCRIPTION
Enormous and scalable capacity
atNorth's second data centre campus in Denmark is being developed on a 171-hectare greenfield site in Varde, approximately 40 km west of Billund Airport. The campus will accommodate both colocation and bespoke build-to-suit projects, and is specifically designed for companies with data-intensive needs.
Starting at a capacity of 500 MW, the campus is built with the potential to scale to several hundred additional megawatts. Waste heat recovery solutions are incorporated, with the potential to supply large greenhouse environments, local housing and new opportunities for sustainable energy production.
DEN 02 is equipped with advanced heat recovery technology and is prepared for Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), capable of supporting heavy HPC and AI workloads in an energy-efficient manner.
Denmark's data centre market forms a central part of the Nordic region — one of Europe's fastest-growing areas outside the traditional FLAP markets — with easy access to clean, cost-effective energy, stable connectivity and carbon-free power.
